Some people would say that when it comes to writing, no one can really claim to be an expert. You may have had years of experience in writing school research papers but you will never be able to fight that uncomfortable feeling once you are faced with writer’s block. When you stare at a blank sheet of paper for hours (which may even turn to days) and no amount of motivation or inspiration strikes you, then you’ll know you’re going to have the hardest time finishing that term paper on time. It may not even be a term paper. It could be as simple as a blog post or a book review for school, but it’s all the same. When you have no ideas between your ears, there’s nothing for you to start with.
By the end of a few hours, you should have 6 or 7 pages of content that looks somewhat similar to what your finished product might look like, eventually. With a few scribbles of red, notes in the sidebars, and footnotes of some kind in your document with links or references to your source materials.
I can start my day whenever I want (it’s usually around 8:30 a.m.), and I can go as long as I want to, as long as the energy lasts (that’s around 6 p.m.). I can work on weekends (I usually do); and of course, a ‘holiday’ is just another workday for me, unless I decide to take that day off.
But then it strikes that you will be left with only a little material by the end. Well this is not true. Because as you build up a specific standpoint and organize yourself to work on that, the fine points and details start pouring themselves.
Now, you must decide which single direction you are going to take for expanding the article. You aren’t writing a custom writing service review, but you could easily write multiple articles now because you started thinking like a student writing a term paper.
Other blog writing tips are strictly associated with the content, for example, withdrawing trivial discussions. Do not cling on to irrelevant points that few people care about. Instead, research interesting topics and keep your blog informative and attractive.

A good writer needs an open mind. Especially to criticism. Thinking you have the only solution blocks you from growth. And growth is a necessary condition to being a good writer.
Obviously to be a successful freelance writer, you will need to find several place and clients to write for. You want to go for at least 5-7 sources of income. In one dries up or you get bored, then you will have a network of others backing you up financially. Limiting your sources is financial suicide. You might want to start with popular content sites or sites with «freelance writers wanted» clearly posted for easy jobs.
In order to build sustainable success as a writer, one must think beyond the usual freelance writer jobs and finding them. There are so many more ways to earn – from self publishing to creating your own blogs to selling articles – that there is no reason to limit yourself. No writer should suffer «lean months» because of a lack of clients or jobs.
